Rodeo and Horse Sports
What a dynamic group of disciplines a rodeo and horse-related sports provides! In my opinion, probably the most exciting action sport a photographer can be involved with. An opportunity to illustrate in images the sheer power of the animals, the courage of the cattlemen and cattle-women, and the incredible horsemanship skills. And then there are the people. An Australian sub-culture that lends itself to hard work, pride in looking after their animals, fierce competition, and camaraderie amongst the dirt and dust.
